After much preparation – erecting the marquee & gazebos, getting the BBQ prepared and displays ready – we were ready to welcome people to our annual Family Barn Storm event on Flitton Moor. We were really glad to have the event back after a three year hiatus due to Covid.
We had extra art in the marquee as Jim Trollinger, a local artist from California, had organised a “Paint out” on Flitwick moor a few days earlier and the paintings from this event were on display. There were also works by several other local artists.
As usual the event included displays by the Wildlife Trust, the Greensand Trust and animal orienteering organised by Lyndsey of CBC. There was also a display of live owls, and of course our annual Duck Race. So basically just lots of people having fun.
