Jane has always lived and worked in Bedfordshire. Well known for her expressive pastel paintings, she does enjoy working and experimenting with other media. Her enthusiasm for walking and nature has been confined to the local countryside during the pandemic and she has used that time to explore both new techniques and subjects whilst delivering her art classes online. A passion for travel both at home and abroad is evident in her innumerable sketchbooks and is a source of inspiration for much of her work.
Having exhibited widely for many years, including with the Pastel Society and The Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London, Jane’s paintings are now featured at The Mosaic Gallery, Woburn. She works with art groups as a demonstrator and tutor and has a full programme of classes and workshops including a local weekly class in Flitwick.
